SAM BANKS/ACCE — The second high school tournament of the season was full of excitement. Due to increased participation, the tournament location was moved from Frederick Douglass to Sam Banks and ACCE, a relatively new school (both in their second year of existence). In addition to being excellent hosts, Sam Banks tied with Medical Arts for the most newcomers, and both schools came home with plenty of hardware. Another new school, Coppin Academy, established themselves by earning top team in the novice division.

Mervo, a historically strong team in BUDL, performed well in all divisions, and landed the double victory of taking home both the BUDL Man Award and Top Overall School.
