Spanish Debate

Participants : Acacia Asbell, Ashley Moss, Deja Dickens, Angelica\ Latta and students inside of the class during audience participation.

topics : The death of illegal immigrants who died during their trip\ to the United States, should the driver be found guilty.
format : The structure\ of the debate was the same as at a typical BUDL debate with the addition of\ an audience interjection before rebutal speeches. The times were scaled down\ to 3 minutes for opening speeches and 2 minutes for rebutals.
comments : Students were engaged in the process with varying levels of interest being\ demonstrated.
