Johns Hopkins Spring Fair Debates
BUDL tabled at the Spring Fair to raise awareness for our programs\ - including public debate. Because of restrictions on fair participants, these\ were "low-fi", grassroots debates - no microphones, just the power of the\ debaters\u2019 voices! This challenge also allowed our debaters to experiment\ with some "guerilla marketing" of debate: using creative signs, announcements\ and audience participation & requests to bring the passersby and keep their\ attention.

A total of four public debates took place over the course of the weekend.
Despite some bad weather, the weekend was a great success for BUDL as our\ best ambassadors - our students - once again drew an audience who left anxious\ to learn more about how they could help BUDL with our mission to change the\ world with the power of debate! Gallery
